Graduated with a B.Sc in Health, Fitness and Leisure course in I.T. Tralee in 2008 and subsequently completed her M.Sc in Weight Management in the University of Chester in 2014. Aine has been involved in the Sports Inclusion Disability Programme(SIDP) since its inception in 2008. She has worked as the Sports Inclusion Disability Officer (SIDO) for Kildare Sports Partnership and Meath Local Sports Partnership and has recently commence the role as the SIDO for both Kildare and South County Dublin Sports Partnership.
At a National level, Aine has been a Disability Inclusion Training tutor for the past three years and has delivered the DIT course to a wide variety of participants. At an International level, in 2015 Aine represented the CARA APA Centre as a tutor on the Plan2Inclusivize Sports Inclusion Project. Aine was fully involved in the development and delivery of the project in partnership with the UNESCO chair IT Tralee and Plan International Ireland. The pilot project was successfully delivered in Sokode-Togo; Addis Ababa -Ethiopia and the Gambella, Ethiopia.
