Duration: 1 hour 30 mins
Cost: €300
Who is this workshop for?:

Individuals with an interest in increasing their awareness in sport and physical activity for people with disabilities.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding Disability: to define and distinguish between the different disability/impairment groups
  • Increased Awareness: have an increased awareness of people with disabilities taking part in sport and opportunities in your community
  • Reflect and Evaluate: reflect and evaluate your own practice of inclusion

The training created a great awareness of how we should communicate with people that have a wide variety of disabilities. The variety of attendees from different backgrounds really helped me, we learnt from each other’s experiences and needs.
